About Me

I am passionate about supporting people in developing their potential for change, growth and movement.

For 20 years, I was a counsellor at Lancaster University. During that period I worked with students and staff of all ages and backgrounds. I gained a rich understanding of issues such as work-related stress, transitions, relationships, identity, bereavement and loss. Clients have experienced depression, anxiety, disordered eating, self harm and suicidal thoughts.

I received my Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling from Keele University in 2002. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and work within their Ethical Framework. This means I undertake ongoing training and ensure that my work is appropriately supervised.

I have professional indemnity insurance and I am registered with the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office). This is my commitment to safe management of any information you share with me.
