Supervision

Effective supervision is important for all practitioners, to assist us in working safely and competently, whilst promoting reflective practice and self-care. It is also a space that is useful for continued professional and personal development.

I received my Certificate in Supervision from the University of Central Lancashire in 2023, although my experience of supervising individuals and groups dates back to 2004 when I joined North Lancashire Counselling Service as a volunteer. I gained valuable insight into collaborative working and constructive feedback.

I use Page and Wosket’s cyclical model. This allows explorative space for the supervisee and offers a containing, collaborative framework, whatever your modality.

My fee for sessions is £55 per hour (£50 for trainee therapists). I offer sessions in person in Lancaster.
